One of the most inspiring movies of all time? Jurassic Park. At least I think so. I couldn’t tell you how many artists I’ve met that originally started in the creative entertainment industry because of the boundaries broken with these dino movies.
This project is for adding additional elements to a model to really bring them to life. Realistic movement, anything that can make them feel more alive.
This series is a challenge of detail and print simplicity. The goal is 100% support-less, including all the skin detail, and works on resin and FDM machines. All of the dinosaurs are print-in-place with detailed skins, anatomy, and a classic following-eye technique. The Velociraptor is the most characterized dinosaur inspired by the Jurassic Park series, absolutely groundbreaking for its time, and a box office wonder.
This one also has a special place for me, as Jurassic Park is my absolute favorite movie. It inspired me to be creative and imaginative as a kid and even started me making films with an old tape recorder with my cousins. The genuine fun part is that they should be incredibly easy to paint and create your own original paint designs and patterns!
